Community Garden Design Contest

See your ideas come to life! Enter our contest to help design the community garden that will be built in St Stephens in 2023. Whether it be a haven for wildlife, thriving vegetable patch, or a place of peace and mindfulness - we want to see your ideas!

Open to anyone of any age - no need for professional design experience of any kind. You do not need to be a member to enter. Simply draw a garden and send us a picture of the design at info@growchiswellgreen.org

Designs will be judged on:

​

• How it encourages local wildlife;  

• How it brings the community together, and

• How it is accessible for everyone. 

We are open to any creative ideas for how the garden can meet the above criteria. The winner will see elements of their design come to life in the final design of the garden, plus a host of prizes including a luxury food and wine hamper, a £50 voucher for Aylett Nurseries, £20 St Albans voucher and free coffee & cake at the Lazy Llama Cafe in Greenwood Park.
